Privacy Policy

This notice explains how information is handled through the Renée Alexis website. It covers browsing, enquiries, consultation requests and newsletter registration. Separate information may be provided when you enter a coaching, advisory or event engagement.

1. Information you provide

Enquiry forms ask for your name, email address and message, and may include your organisation, role, service interests and preferred timing. Consultation requests may include your preferred time and timezone. Newsletter registration asks for your email address, an optional first name and consent. Please do not submit identity documents, payment details, health information or other sensitive information through these forms.

2. How information is used

Information is used to respond to requests, discuss services and arrange consultations. Newsletter details are used to send the communications you choose to receive. Technical information is used to operate and protect the website, investigate faults and limit abusive submissions. The website does not make automated decisions about your suitability for services.

3. Newsletter choices

Newsletter consent is separate from an enquiry. You can choose not to subscribe and can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe option in a newsletter. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it. A form should only be treated as successfully submitted when the website confirms delivery; an error message means delivery has not been confirmed.

4. Hosting and service providers

The website is hosted on Render. Requests to the website necessarily disclose technical information such as an IP address to the hosting service. Form information is passed to the configured enquiry or newsletter service when delivery is enabled. An embedded booking calendar, when available, is operated by its own provider and its privacy terms also apply. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.

5. Fonts, cookies and browser storage

The website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information required to deliver those files. The current website code does not install advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Administrators use an essential sign-in cookie with an eight-hour lifetime; this is not required for ordinary browsing. The private editor can recover legacy drafts stored in an administrator's browser. These functions do not create a visitor account.

6. Security and retention

Administrative access is restricted and form inputs are validated. No website or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Accepted enquiries are stored on a private persistent disk and are accessible only to signed-in website administrators through the CMS enquiry inbox. Email forwarding is used only when separately configured. Retention of correspondence and subscription records depends on the receiving service and the purposes of the engagement. Hosting and third-party services may retain operational records under their own policies.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. These rights can have exceptions, including where records must be retained by law. You may also raise a complaint with the relevant data-protection regulator. Use the contact details published on this website to raise a privacy request; please do not include sensitive documents in an initial message.

8. Information before an engagement

The responsible contracting entity, direct privacy contact, applicable lawful bases, retention periods and any international-transfer arrangements must be confirmed for the particular services and providers used. If these details have not yet been supplied to you, request them before sharing confidential or sensitive information. This website notice does not replace any additional privacy information provided for an engagement.

9. Updates

This notice may change when the website's services or data-handling arrangements change. The current version remains available on this page. Last updated: 18 September 2026.

Enquiry verification: the enquiry form uses an essential, ten-minute cookie to bind its human-verification question to your browser.

Private newsletter records: when you subscribe, your name, email, consent date and agreed notice are saved privately in the CMS. Active subscribers can be exported by a signed-in administrator to an email platform. Ask through the enquiry form to withdraw consent; withdrawn records are excluded from active exports. Saving a signup does not send an email automatically.
